A process certificate guarantees that products have been correctly assembled. It is issued to assembly plants with proven expertise and assembly quality. Like a product certificate, a process certificate gives a prior guarantee of the quality that will be provided. A process certificate is particularly useful if the assembly work has a major impact on the performance of the final product, or if monitoring the implementation requires specialist knowledge. Process certificates can help with building management and reduce the failure costs by preventing mistakes during the process.
My process is not listed
No assessment guideline (BRL) available for your process? Please contact us. SKG-IKOB can set up a supervisory committee with representatives of the relevant market parties to devise a new BRL. Once the new BRL has been approved by the Board of Experts, your process can be tested and certified.
